Hi everyone! My name is Ashley and I'm 1/2 of United SHE Stands. I'm from a really small town in Northeast Ohio and still reside in Northeast Ohio today in a larger suburb of Akron with my husband and son. I've been working in IT in corporate America since 2012
but I've always had an interest and passion for politics and leadership. For years, I've wanted to do something to make a difference. That desire collided with the idea to start a podcast and Sara telling me it wasn't completely crazy. Which leads us here, to United SHE Stands!

I'm here to learn, to help other women who want to get involved understand and feel empowered in politics, and to make sure we remember that we are not our political affiliations, but we are humans and Americans who have more in common than we often realize.

In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, and throwing back a few craft beers.
